About 24-36 months ago, the verification of all things Internet has started to move from Email to DNS on top of MFA, 2FA and more. I started the move from email verification to DNS over that time yet in the past 12 months, DNS is now the predominant verification process of Internet resource changes for your Internet assets. It tricky to manage yet doable if you know what you are doing.
I believe in layered security, yet this new thing about DNS verification of verification is a new twist. I just wonder when DNSSEC becomes front and center.
For nearly 15 years, email verification of all things Internet was solid, yet DNS is now the new verification.
This just means that the administrators of your Internet resources need administrative access to DNS 24/7/365 and one should not rely on trusting 3rd party companies website companies managing your DNS. Period!
