In the past 30+ years, the concept of AI was lofty. Fast forward from 1985 fuzzy logic and neural networks, we have come full circle to automation and integration with some form of intelligence.
The million dollar question; how do you profit and save using this dichotomy?
Automation Integration? and to that extension - In Operations.
Artificial Intelligence? and to that extension - In Machine Learning.
This is where the business and technology merge into what I call judgement and intelligence. One can have or not have intelligent teams and tools along with or without judgement and the ever growing tribal knowledge and wisdom of the village.
I am exploring more and more about this striking differences and applications of both AI/ML vs AI/Ops.
The applicability and value really is determined by the present and future necessity of both.
In my understanding and wisdom, research drives production, and production feeds back into research, a continuous improvement circle of innovation and technology.
The more I connect with like minds, the better we will be. the Academic side of this is fun, yet the real world application is where I love to apply solutions into organizations, projects and successes.
If you have the data, do you have the wisdom and history to know what that means and how to leverage it?
This goes back to a video series I shared in my GGPTCU YouTube Channel.
What I just found is Azure Friday and the link on SQL 2025 and AI. A great fun through on simple is easy, and fast, and powerful. Prototype examples like what they shared is how I have always lived. Enjoy that for Ollama model and SQL Server 2025.
Its funny in Azure Friday, Scott Hanselman and I share the same undergraduate college, Oregon Tech, and we both did SQL Server for 30+ years, and both worked with Microsoft Corporation.
Enjoy!
