Benchmark RTC HPET bug - interesting situation

This is a rather interesting explanation and story on benchmark tests and how they can be skewed for the better or worse, depending on your overclocking from the base clock. I'm not much of a gamer, but I do recognize performance and stability bottlenecks when I read and hear about them, and what we can do to resolve.
