Writing like you talk is some groups of professional is not good. Talking like you write is just the same. Boring.
However, if your ideas come from your heart and mind like a good sense of humor, then you are fine.
People need to lighten up and realize that the writer can often be burdened with political correctness and grammar when in fact those two items get in the way of directly sharing information consistent with the feeling in the value of the information.
I was just reading a technical article on programming and the author and programmer broke his sentence into a series of flamboyant expressions that was mixed with the non-fiction of how do you do something. In my opinion, and much to my delight, it was to engage the reader and student in such a way as to bring to ones active conscience and memory what was being shared and conveyed was abnormal in the standard science and theory of a valuable piece of information. Quite basically, the author made the point in the lesson to stand out and stick out. It did. The author succeeded. The student received the concept without boredom and too much repetition.
