For those experiencing Windows 10 update failure code 0x8007000d then this is a solution that might work for you.
This just happened to a few clients using Dell or Lenovo workstations or laptops. The 2004 Update seemed to work fine on 6 out of 10 computers. 4 of them failed.
Problem: Windows 10 Update 2004 fails and reverting.
Solution: Download and run GWX Control Panel to clear the windows update cache. The problem is in the cryptoservice and/or a corrupted windows update file in the windows update cache. Then, retry the Windows 10 Update Assistant which you can download from Microsoft.
